CTEA Newsletter June 2016

Happy Monday Members!!

We have officially gone 24 hours without rain, someone pinch me! Oh how I have missed the beautiful blue skies and cloudless days. I think the Texas summer may show up after all.
CTEA was busy this weekend putting on the 2nd Kim Severson clinic of 2016 and boy was it a fun one! Thank you to everyone who rode, audited and played jump crew this weekend. Putting clinics on would not be possible without all of you and your continued support of this small but mighty club. It was a great weekend spending time with members, a few new faces and having the opportunity to learn from one of the best in our sport!
Best of luck to our members who will be making the haul up to North Texas this weekend for the last event of the spring season, Texas Rose. To all the riders, grooms, parents, coaches & cheering squads, please take a moment on Saturday to stop by the Area V Dinner & Young Rider Fair. Doors open at 6pm and the party doesn’t stop until 10pm! In addition to dinner and the auction, they are hosting games and entertainment. Trainers, if you are looking to cool off after a long day of coaching, course walks and pep talks, sign up to take a dip in the Trainer Dunk Booth.  All proceeds benefit the Area V Young Riders for camps, educational clinics, year end awards, NAJYRC, and so much more! If you haven’t purchased tickets, you have until the day before to get tickets for $60 or pay $65 at the door (limited number of tickets available).
Congrats to Bryn Stryk on her 9th place finish in the Training Division at the Willow Draw Charity Show.
CTEA would like to give a warm welcome to our new members: Lolly Perry and Tiffany Bunnell! Welcome to our small but mighty club!
Until next time, stay safe and happy riding!
